Chocolate Raspberry Protien Shake

Happy weekend lovelies!

Today I am going to share a go-to protein shake that I make for myself that is packed with protein and nutrients that you can have after a good solid workout or even as a replacement for a meal!

It is super easy to make and gentle on the wallet. All you need is;

1 cup of skim milk (or if you prefer almond milk/soy milk)
1 teaspoon of chia seeds
1 scoop of the protein of your choice or if you are like me and on the go, a pack of Vega plant based protein (36g)
1 Tbsp. of plain yogurt
1 tbsp. of raw cocoa
1/2 cup of raspberries
1/2 of a banana

Generally I put the milk, protein powder and chia seeds in with the rest of the ingredients on top of prevent the powder from flying to the top of the blender lid and wasting it.

Blend all the ingredients together and voilà!



This protein shake not only is packed with protein (mine has 26g of protein just from the powder) it also has the benefits of Chia seeds which are a fantastic sourced of calcium, omega 3, protein dietary fibre and magnesium. Not only that but you get pro-biotics from the yogurt and potassium from the banana. Might I add that raw cocoa is pack with antioxidants.
